What is GAP Protection?
Covers the difference (GAP) between the amount owed on a finance contract and the actual cash value of the vehicle in the event of a total loss.
Pays off the remaining principal balance plus the deductible up to $500.
Benefits:
- Covers finance contracts up to 150% of the vehicle's MSRP or Retail Value
- Maximum claim amount of $25,000
- Covers primary insurance deductible up to $500
Important Notes:
- Exclusions include late charges, deferred payments, payment extensions, and other charges on your finance contract
- Cancellable items to which you are entitled a refund are not covered
- Ensure to consult your lender or dealer for specific coverage details as it may vary by state and lender
